Victoria "ObaYaa" Koufie has been a seamstress for fifteen years. Most of this time, she had been utilizing the assets of her older sister, as she did not have the capital to start her own enterprise. This was difficult for ObaYaa as much of her revenue had to be returned to her sister. Yet she made a name for herself by reinvesting what she was able to in order to generate a clothing line that mixed modern styles with traditional designs.
