Batiking & Sewing Center (Prampram)
Christy Aquiri was one of the first ladies to start working at the Prampram site as a Batiker. She's been Batiking for Global Mamas for five months and she thoroughly enjoys it. Christy received her Batiking certificate, but still strives to learn more about Batiking and wants to learn even more about the different processes of roping and stamping. She believes that the best part of Batiking is learning the process as well as gaining more knowledge to become an even better Batiker. She thinks it's most important that Global Mamas customers know that Batiking is hard work and a lot of precise detail is put into the work she does. Also, she believes that customers abroad should purchase Global Mamas products because it's quality, "we take our time to do it good" she says. Some of Christy's hobbies include attending Church and swimming in the sea both she says, are "bitter sweet." Christy has two children both girls of the age of two and five. Since Christy has started with Global Mamas she can now afford to send both of her girls to school and provide them with health insurance. In the next five years Christy would be happiest if she could come to America to provide the utmost precious life for herself as well as her children.
